SULPHIDE. Colored glass Sulphide of a rabbit with mica swirled in. This is not classic German. We believe this is Bohemian and from the 1920s or 1930s. The sulphide figure is a well detailed rabbit. It has bullet mold seams around it. The base glass is a dark green. Swirled around the rabbit is mica. Surface in great shape. Neither the figure, nor the glass color are seen in typical classic German Sulphides. And mica has never been seen in classic German Sulphides. The figure construction and detail is much more typical of sulphide figures found in Bohemian paperweights. It is not contemporary glass. It would be considered hard to find. Bohemia, circa 1920-1940. 2". Mint (9.9).
