SULPHIDE. Painted Sulphide. Figure is a Bear Grasping a Log. Some say this is a bear grasping his member. But you decide. Eyes, nostrils and mouth are painted black. Log is painted black. Ground is painted green. Above average detail for the figure. Large figure for the marble. Set slightly high in the marble. Faceted pontil. No air bubbles in the marble. Very small chip right next to the pontil on the bottom. Very tiny flake near the top of the marble. A little very light pocket wear. Views very well. Great marble and rare. Germany, circa 1860-1920. 1-3/8". Near Mint(+) (8.9).

Packages over $200 require a signature upon delivery per our insurance company. Packages valued over $2500 must be shipped via USPS Express Mail or FedEx Overnight Shipping, in order to be insured. We ship to the address on your invoice. If you want us to ship to a different address, just let us know. The only exception to this are items paid through Paypal. Those items must be shipped to your Paypal address in accordance with Paypal rules. If you are a foreign bidder, be aware that the cost of postage tends to be very high for any packages over 15 ounces. Contact us before bidding for an estimate of shipping costs.
