MISCELLANEOUS, Tournament Trophy. A very rare Marble King Trophy presented by Berry Pink. These are almost impossible to find. Bakelite plastic base which has a piece missing from one corner (see image). Brass plaque bolted to the front of the base "Marble King Trophy Presented by Berry Pink to the Champion" and then space below for the child's name to be engraved. It is unclear if this is unused or the child never had his name engraved. The best part is the brass trophy bolted to the top of the base. Three eagles standing on garland holding up a globe on which is perched a plinth consisting of olive leaves under the Marble King crown, with the Marble King boy perched on top shooting a marble wearing the Marble King crown. This is not your typical marble shooter you see on most store-bought trophies. This is a depiction of the Marble King kid. Everything in great shape, except for the damage noted to the base. Circa 1930s. Overall height is 16". Base is 5-1/2" inches, brass trophy is 11-1/2" tall. 6-1/2" wide at base. A rare opportunity.
