END OF DAY, Clown. Outstanding and extremely rare marble. Would best be described as a Paneled Submarine Clown with Mica. Clear base. Narrow candle core of yellow with pink skin, covered with seed air bubbles and mica. Outer layer is a subsurface layer of two color panels and two clear panels. The two panels are stretched flecks with flecks of color on top of it. One panel is white and yellow stretched flecks with red and green flecks on it. Other is stretched white and yellow flecks with blue, green and pink flecks on it. The panels are left twist with a reverse twist top. Very rare! Very small subsurface moon in the lower half of one of the clear panels with a very tiny fracture near it. Two tiny chips above that. A number of tiny chips on the upper half of the clear panel on the opposite side, with a very small flake on the pink, yellow, green and white panel. No pocket wear. Views very nicely despite the damage I've detailed, as you can see from the images. A really remarkable marble. Germany, circa 1860-1920. 1-11/16". Near Mint(-) (8.2).
